Tickets & availability
General Admission tickets can be bought for someone else, but all discounts must be applied for & claimed by the individual who is attending.
Yes — there is a limit of 2 tickets per order.
General Admission tickets are anonymous and transferrable. Name/email can be changed using the link in your original Order Confirmation email. Discounted tickets are non-transferrable.
General Admission ticket sales for Devcon India began with our ETH-only Early Bird sale in May.
Additional General Admission ticket waves began on 14 July.
You can add your ticket to your Apple or Google Wallet immediately after placing your order. We will send a PDF containing your ticket QR a few days prior to Devcon.
No — General Admission tickets are only available during waves. However, we will have limited free & discounted tickets available on our ticket shop throughout the year.
We will also be featuring a Patron Ticket this year; this ticket can be bought outside of waves to directly support the Scholarship Program.

Yes — we have limited discounted tickets reserved for Indian residents. You can verify your residency using our ticket shop with your Aadhaar Card via Self.
While we do not offer group or team tickets, we offer plenty of discounts to individual applicants. You may also consider becoming a Supporter in our Supporter Program.
Yes! There will be multiple ways to obtain discounted tickets this year:
Yes — we offer discounted tickets for Indian and International students to join us at Devcon 8 India. Students should fill out our application form and if approved, we’ll send you a voucher link to purchase your ticket. Indian and International Student tickets are priced at $25 and $99 respectively.

Refunds & cancellations
Refunds will be permitted until the start of Devcon. General Admission tickets are anonymous and therefore transferrable. Discounted tickets are non-transferrable.
Yes, if you are accepted as a speaker, you can request a refund for your original ticket purchase.
You can request a partial cancellation by contacting our support team at support@devcon.org.
You can cancel your order by returning to your Order page found in your original confirmation email & clicking 'Cancel Order'.
Yes. In the unfortunate event your Visa application is rejected, we will refund the cost of your ticket back to the original payment method.
You must Cancel your Order on your original Order Confirmation Page (sent via email) to begin the process, or reach out to us at support@devcon.org if your order contains more than 1 ticket.
Orders paid for with Fiat will be automatically refunded.
Orders paid for with Crypto will need to be manually refunded by our team. Please allow us up to 2 weeks to process Crypto refunds.

Yes, the venue is accessible to those with disabilities.
While there is no specific dress code for Devcon, we will uphold a "No shirt, no shoes, no entry" rule.
No weapons, drugs, drones, or animals are permitted inside the venue. Smoking or chewing of tobacco is prohibited.
Yes, sessions will be recorded & streamed on our YouTube channel for those who cannot attend Devcon.
All 4-day tickets include full conference access, catering, and hot drinks.
Absolutely! Our events are perfect for curious beginners looking to explore the technologies that keep the internet free and self-sovereign.
If you value censorship resistance, OSS, privacy or security – you’ll feel at home at Devcon.
If your child is between the ages of 3–17, they will need a Youth ticket. A Youth Ticket is only valid for those under 18.
Whether you're a parent/guardian buying on behalf of children, or you're under-18 and want to attend Devcon with parental consent, fill out our Youth Ticket request form to apply.
How to apply
Youth tickets are limited — we recommend applying early.
All Discounted ticket types (Locals, Builder, Student, Youth) must show ID at Registration. All other ticket types can enter with just their QR code.
Yes — Parents or Youth can apply for a Youth Ticket.
Note: Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Travel & visas
Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter India. Visa requirements depend, among other things, on your nationality, travel history, personal circumstances and travel plans (including, purpose of travel).
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all applicable entry requirements for India, including obtaining any required visas or other travel authorizations.
We recommend checking your visa eligibility and applying in advance through India's official visa channels.

The appropriate visa will depend on your individual circumstances, including your nationality, travel history, travel plans, and the purpose of your visit.
We cannot determine which visa is appropriate for you or provide immigration advice. Before applying, please review the official requirements and, where necessary, seek guidance from the relevant Indian Embassy, Consulate, Indian Mission, or other official Indian visa authority in your country of residence.

The closest airport to Mumbai is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM). It’s approximately 10–12km from BKC (about 30–45 minutes by taxi).

The hotels have designated rooms at discounted rates and special perks specifically for Devcon attendees. Rooms will be allocated entirely on a first-come-first-served basis and are subject to availability.
